1.he WACA is another favorite venue of Curtly Ambrose in Australia after the MCG. This was the last trip that he was to take down under and obviously the big man wanted to make it an occasion to remember. He did exactly that in Australia's first inns as he ripped the heart out of Australia's batting in intense heat.

2.His figures of 5/43 in 18 overs would surely rank as one of the best bowling performances under oppressive conditions. Ambrose bowled with great heart in nearly 45 degrees heat.

But his first inns bowling performance had already opened the doors for a West Indies win and he deservingly won the man of the match for that.
