AMBROUSE SKILLS
1.he WACA is another favorite venue of Curtly Ambrose in Australia after the MCG. This was the last trip that he was to take down under and obviously the big man wanted to make it an occasion to remember. He did exactly that in Australia's first inns as he ripped the heart out of Australia's batting in intense heat.

2.His figures of 5/43 in 18 overs would surely rank as one of the best bowling performances under oppressive conditions. Ambrose bowled with great heart in nearly 45 degrees heat.

3.However in the second inns the big man was not quite his usual self as he bowled 20 no balls. And he bowled 9 in his 9th over making it a 15 ball over which surely would rank as one of the longest overs bowled in the history of test cricket. However he still grabbed 2/50 in the second inns which gave him a match haul of 7/93. But his first inns bowling performance had already opened the doors for a West Indies win and he deservingly won the man of the match for that.

4.He also achieved the distinction of getting the most number of wickets by a vising bowler at the WACA. Curtly's 24 wickets at Perth have cost him just 12.91 runs per wicket. Richard Hadlee with 18 wickets is another foreign player to have done w
